Holistic hotel project in El Palol, Spain Holistic project of BIO-hotel El Palol, Spain - the centre for development of physical, mental and spiritual human qualities. Reconstruction and extension of former monastery El Palol near the river Fluvia in Catalonia. Visit website of the project | Project photos
Project of family house in El Palol, Spain Family house project in the immediate vicinity of the El Palol Monastery by the River Fluvia in Catalonia. The project includes geomancy and feng-shui studies. It is part of an eco-hotel complex in El Palol. The architecture is natural, consisting mainly of wood, local stone and clay. The house design comes from organic architecture forms. It has a green roof. Due to the warm Spanish climate, the house is cooled in the summer by air flowing beneath the surface through an underground collector. Savings on electrical cooling are significant. The shape of the house was designed together with the client and future resident.  Thus the design expresses the client's creativity and inspiration. Project photos

Stavba typizovaného rodinného house Consulting geomancy and feng-shui prior to the construction of the standardized family house. A running ground water line was pinpointed on site. I avoided the directions of these lines when designing the house by placing the beds in the layout outside these lines. The result was a house which has a very fine interior climate. Project photos
Design of the pavement of a square in the Vlachovo Březí Design of the pavement of a square in the Vlachovo Březí region in South Bohemia. The segmentation of the pavement is linked with the sacred geometry of the church and the geomantic features of the surrounding landscape. From a sacral energy point in front of the altar in the interior of the church, energy lines run in a satellite pattern to the nearby sacral energetic points in the surrounding landscape. The direction of the energy lines is captured in the patterns and the different colours of the stones use in the pavement on the square. This is the first case in the Czech Republic where the energetic geomantic features of the landscape are being integrated, using modern methods, into a specific project (the details can be found in the section on geomancy and feng shui). Design of an energy-efficient, atrium family house Design of an energy-efficient, atrium family house inspired by components of Japanese architecture. The main idea - the arrangement of the rooms around an inner garden - comes from the principle of holistic architecture and feng shui. The proportions of the building are based on sacral geometry of the tree of life. The placement of the building on the allotment and the structure of the interior are aimed at avoiding the geopathogenic zones present. Only healthy natural building materials were used. The supporting structure of the house is made of wood, which was specifically cut on suitable days as according to the lunar rhythms. The framework is made from unfired brick. The walls in the rooms are plastered with clay. The roof is thermally insulated with a 30 cm layer of grain straw. The framing walls are insulated with 30 cm thick Hofatherm wood-fibre insulation and 5 cm of sedge with outer lime plastering. Aerated all-wood flooring is insulated with a 30 cm layer of hemp straw. The substructure and the foundation of the house are made of sand-stone. The windows and doors are made of solid oak. All wooden surfaces are treated with wood oil. Project photos

Energy-efficient family house in Chrustenice Energy-efficient family house in Chrustenice based on the principles of geomancy and feng shui. The main building and the extension with a toilet and boiler room both have an energy-efficient rounded-off shape. The proportions of the ground-plan and the height of the building are determined by the sacral geometry of squares and circles. The positioning and functions of the rooms in the house are connected with the movement of the Sun. The dwelling rooms are situated on the south side. The technical and supporting premises are situated on the north and west sides. Such space arrangement allows for the use of the so-called passive solar gains. In the middle of the house is a compound tile stove with an oven. In cold seasons, the interior heat is accumulated in inner rods made of unfired brick and inner clay plastering. Project photos

Design of a family house in Brandýs nad Labem including interiors

Design of a family house in Brandýs nad Labem including interiors. The preparatory research included the investigation of the geomancy of the plot and the integration of the principles of feng shui. The building is constructed according to energy-efficient standards. It is built from heat-insulating bricks and additionally insulated with heat-insulating Baumit plaster, 7 cm thick. The built-up area of the house is 120 m². The wider side of the ground-plan faces south and consists of dwelling rooms. Sunlight, penetrating through the windows, thus warms the house during cold seasons. The staircase, bathroom, toilet and boiler room are situated on the northern side of the house. The heating of the house is provided by radiators and floor-heating. The heat is obtained by the electrical heating of a storage tank. Additional heating is provided by solar panels and a fireplace situated in the living room. Project photos
